Completing Sentence for SSC

এখানে  Completing Sentences -এর কয়েকটি উদাহরণ দেওয়া হলো। এখানে শুধুমাত্র  Complex Sentence ভিত্তিক Completing Sentence-এর উদাহরণ বাংলা অনুবাদসহ  দেওয়া হলো ।উল্লেখ্য যে, শিক্ষার্থীগণ Sentence Complete করার সময় Tense-এর বিষয়টি লক্ষ্য রাখতে হবে।যেমন; 

He had a cow which -এর পরবর্তী অংশ যুক্ত করতে চাইলে যৌক্তিক কারণে হবে-was nice/would give him milk.-এর মতো আরো ভিন্ন ভিন্ন বাক্যাংশ যুক্ত করে বাক্য সম্পূর্ণ করা যাবে।অথচ যদি বাক্যের প্রথম অংশঃHe has a cow হতো,তাহলে পরবর্তী অংশঃis nice./gives him milk.লেখা উচিত।তবে পরবর্তী অংশ Past Tense/Future Tense-এ ও সম্পূর্ণ করা যাবে; তবে তা অবশ্যই বাক্যের প্রথম অংশের সাথে সংগতিপূর্ণ হতে হবে।এখনে উল্লিখিত প্রতিটি বাক্যে conjunction/connector/relative pronoun-ব্যবহার করে complex  sentence গঠন করা হয়েছে।চিহ্নিত অংশগুলো connectors. তবে শধুমাত্র  phrase সহযোগেও sentence complete করা যায়। পরবর্তী উদাহরণে সেগুলো দেয়া হবে।

Completing Sentence-01

1.You must work hard so that you may succeed.

-তোমাকে অবশ্য কঠোর পরিশ্রম করতে হবে যাতে তুমি সফল হতে পার ।

2.He has a cow which is nice.

-তার একটা গাভী আছ যেটি  সুন্দর।  

  3.He has a cow which gives them milk.

তার একটি গাভী আছে যেটি তাদেরকে  দুধ দেয় ।

4.He asked me if I had gone to school that day.

-তিনি আমাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করেছিলেল যে আমি ঐদিন স্কুলে গিয়েছিলাম কী না ।

5.Walk fast lest you should miss the train.

-দ্রুত হাঁট অন্যথায় তুমি গাড়ি ফেল করবে ।

6.You must work harder than I do.

-তোমাকে অবশ্যয় আমার থেকে অধিকতর পরিশ্রম করতে হবে ।

7.He is so weak that he cannot walk.

-সে এত দূর্বল যে হাঁটতে পারে না

8.He was so weak that he could not walk.

--সে এত দূর্বল ছিল যে হাঁটতে পারত না ।

9.Unless you help me, I shall be in trouble.

-যদি না তুমি আমাকে সাহায্য কর, আমি সমস্যায় পড়ব ।

10.I know what he say. (what= তা যা)

-আমি তা জানি সে যা বলে ।

11.I could not understand what you told us.

-আমি তা বুঝতে পারলাম না যা আপনি আমাদেরকে বলেছিলেন ।

12.It is I who am your teacher.

-এ হচ্ছি আমি যে তোমার শিক্ষক ।

13.Strike the iron when it is red.

-লোহা ধরনা যখন এটি তপ্ত থাকে ।

14.As he was tired, he could not go to school.

যেহেতু সে ক্লান্ত , সে স্কুলে যেতে পারল না ।

15.Ten years have passed since we meet first.

-আমাদের প্রথম দেখার পর দশ বছর অতিবাহিত হয়েছে ।

16.It is a long time since we meet first.

-অনেক দিন পূর্বে আমাদের শেষ দেখা হয়েছিল ।

17.All that glitters is not gold.

-চক চক করলে সোনা হয় না ।

 18.Wait here until I come back.

-এখানে অপেক্ষা কর যে পর্যন্ত না আমি ফিরে আসি ।

19.Though he is rich, he is miser.

-যদিও সে ধনী, সে কৃপণ ।

20.If I were rich, I would help the poor.

যদি আমি ধনী হতাম  আমি গরীবদেরকে সাহায্য করতাম ।

21. We should say ‘no’ to corruption because it is very harmful for us.

    -আমরা দূর্ণীতিকে না বলা উচিত কারণ এটি আমাদের জন্য খুব ক্ষতিকর । 

22.  Corrupt persons are not only dishonest but also dangerous.

   -দূর্ণীতিগ্রস্ত লোক শুধু অসৎ নয় ভয়ানকও । 

23.  Now, it is high time we stopped corruption.

  -দুর্নীতি থামাবার এটিই উপযুক্ত সময় । 

24. We should work together if we want to stop corruption.

- যদি আমরা দূর্ণীতি থামাতে চাই ,আমাদেরকে একসাথে কাজ করা উচিত। 

25. But we are so self-centered that we cannot work together.

  -কিন্তু আমরা এত আত্মকেন্দ্রিক যে আমরা একসাথে কাজ করতে পারিনা । 

26. You cannot find others to love  unless you love them.

   -তুমি অন্যদের ভালবাসা পাবেনা যদিনা তুমি তাদেরকে ভালবাস । 

27. It is love that lies in all.

    -এটি হল ভালিবাসা যা সবার মাঝে আছে । 

28.  Love is divine which descends from heaven.

- ভালবাসা স্বর্গীয় যা  স্বর্গ থেকে আসে । 

29. Your friends cannot help living you unless you do not love them.

   -তোমার বন্ধুরা তোমাকে বসবাসে সাহায্য করবেনা যদি তুমি তাদেরকে ভাল না বাস ।

30.  If you are not loved by others, it is a good evidence that you should not love others.
-যদি কেউ তোমায় ভাল না বাসে ,এটা একটা ভাল প্রমাণ যে তুমি কাহাকেও ভালবাসা উচিত হবে না ।

 31. John says that he was at the meeting. 

    (জন বলেন যে তিনি সভায় ছিলেন।)

32. John says that he is at the meeting. 

    (জন বলেন যে তিনি সভায় আছেন।)

33. John says that he will be at the meeting. 

    (জন বলেন যে তিনি সভায় অংশ নেবেন।) 

34. John will say that he was at the meeting.

     (জন বলবেন যে তিনি সভায় ছিলেন।) 

35.John will say that he is at the meeting.

     (জন বলবেন যে তিনি সভায় আছেন ।)
